Under the guidance and with the personal participation of Professor Baindurashvili: the latest methods of diagnosing and treating diseases of the musculoskeletal system in children have been introduced, new operational technologies have been developed that are recognized and successfully used in Russia and abroad to treat orthopedic pathology in young children, new approaches for prevention of child injuries were proposed, the City Children’s Burn Center was organized. With the participation of Professor Baindurashvili, the Federal Center for Spinal and Spinal Cord Injuries in Children and the Spina Bifida Center were established at the Institute.
