The application of innovative technologies in psychological rehabilitation

Annotation:

Introduction. The article is devoted to the application of modern innovative technologies in the practice of psychological rehabilitation. Analysis includes remote methods and usage of personal computers and modern programs. The topical issues of indications and limitations of these methods in the practice of psychological rehabilitation and habilitation of persons with various disabilities are considered.

Aim. To assess the possibility of applying these methods of psychological work in the framework of comprehensive rehabilitation and habilitation, to describe the significant requirements and conditions for their implementation with the purpose to organize efficient and fruitful psychological work with different categories of persons with disabilities.

Materials and methods. The authors analyzed the application of innovative technologies in the practice of psychological work on the basis of a targeted survey (interviewed more than 30 specialists), analytical review of data, analysis and synthesis of practical developments presented by researchers. Selection criteria were mandatory use of innovative technologies of psychological work in practice for a period more than 1 year. Own experience of application of those technologies was also analyzed.

Results. The expediency and limitations of the use of these technologies in some cases are shown, the specific rules of “eco-friendly” using of video consulting are given.

Conclusion. Application of methods of psychological rehabilitation on the basis of modern technologies provided observance of a number of rules and requirements, opens wide prospects of realization of psychological help for various contingents of the rehabilitated and habilitated persons.
