Annotation:

Introduction. One of the main and priority tasks of the modern state policy of St. Petersburg in relation to the disabled is the development of a comprehensive rehabilitation system and a change in the attitude of society to the problems of the disabled. One of the examples of successful implementation of forms and methods of comprehensive rehabilitation in St. Petersburg is the activity of the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution for Social Services of the population “Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled People and Disabled Children of the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg”, in which we studied the practice of providing social services provided to disabled people on the basis of a developed individual social service program, and rehabilitation services – based on the individual rehabilitation/ Habilitation Program of a disabled person.

Aim. In a comparative aspect, to analyze the main indicators of the implementation of social and rehabilitation services for the population

Materials and methods. The materials on the types, composition and content of social and rehabilitation services provided to people with disabilities of working age at the Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled People and Disabled Children in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg in 2022 and 2023 were studied. Methods: data copying, expert assessments, statistical, analytical.

Results. Legislative initiatives for the social protection of disabled people living in St. Petersburg require special attention to improving the activities of institutions providing social and rehabilitation services services. We have carried out a study and analysis of the types and content of social and rehabilitation services, as well as the results of their implementation in the “Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled People and Disabled Children of the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg” in 2022-2023. The analysis revealed that in the dynamics of 2 years, there was a decrease in almost all types of social services, except for social services. It was also revealed that during this period there was a decrease in the number of recipients of social services in a semi-stationary form.

Discussion. The results of the analysis of services provided to persons with disabilities over the course of two years indicate that despite the sufficient volume of social and rehabilitation activities, there have been qualitative changes in the composition and number of social and rehabilitation services with an identified multidirectional trend in the system of their provision: some services are provided in an increased volume, the number of others is decreasing.

Conclusion. As a result of the analysis of the activities of the Center for Social Rehabilitation of the Disabled and Disabled Children of the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, multidirectional trends in the system of providing social and rehabilitation services to people with disabilities of working age were established. There has been a decrease in socio-pedagogical and socio-cultural services, on the contrary, the volume of social and household services has increased, which may indicate a heavier contingent of disabled people entering rehabilitation. Timely and regular compilation of the performance indicators of institutions providing social and rehabilitation services will contribute to the development of proposals to improve rehabilitation work with people with disabilities of working age.
