Introduction. There is a problem of multi-criteria selection of an artificial foot model from the electronic global database of prosthetic modules from different manufacturers for the synthesis of a modular prosthesis for a patient, taking into account the state of his body systems and additional factors affecting the results of medical rehabilitation.

Aim. The aim of the work is to substantiate the system of compatibility between the indicators of the state of the structures and functions of the patient’s body and the characteristics of artificial feet to optimize the choice of a foot model in the personalized synthesis of a lower limb prosthesis based on computer technology.

Materials and methods. The theoretical method, including analysis, synthesis and analogy, and an expert survey of leading specialists are used as research methods. When describing the structural and functional state of the body of the prosthetic, the terminology and determinants of violations adopted in the ICF were used.

Results. A system of indicators for assessing the patient’s condition and a system of characteristics of artificial feet are proposed, which must be taken into account when choosing a personalized prosthetic module of this type. Correspondences between indicators reflecting the condition of the prosthetic and the characteristics of artificial feet are determined in matrix form.

Discussion. The application of the proposed scheme for describing structural and functional disorders of the body will allow structuring and standardizing the description of the condition of a disabled person, which is a necessary stage in the development of technology for personalized selection of prosthetic components, and may also be useful for ensuring continuity between medical and social institutions involved in the rehabilitation of a disabled person.

Conclusion. The developed system of correspondence between the indicators of the state of the structure and functions of the patient’s body, on the one hand, and the characteristics of artificial foot models, on the other hand, can be used by software developers to create a data management system of an electronic global catalog combining prosthetic modules from different manufacturers.
