A.T. Bykov, 15.09.1947 year of birth, graduated from the Altai State Medical Institute, Barnaul (1971), Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation (1993), Doctor of Medical Sciences (1997), Professor (1998), Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (2004), since 2014 – Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (1998), laureate of the Prize of the Krasnodar Territory Administration in the field of science ( 2014), was awarded: the Order of Honor (1999), the medal of the Order servants of the Motherland »II degree (2005), the medal” Hero of Labor of Kuban “(2007).

The priority direction in scientific and educational activities is the prevention of socially significant chronic non-communicable diseases, assessment of health reserves, identification of early preclinical signs of an emerging pathology, development of effective health promotion programs and increasing the resistance of the human body to the effects of adverse environmental factors, mainly using healing natural, climatic and balneological factors of the resorts of Sochi and Krasnodar Territory.

A.T. Bykov is the author of 367 scientific papers, including 15 monographs, 3 patents of the Russian Federation for inventions and articles in scientific journals from the list of HAC (Human Ecology, Herald of New Medical Technologies, Valeology, Herald of Restorative Medicine, “Medical Bulletin of the South of Russia”, “International Journal of Immunorehabilitation”, “Proceedings of Sochi State University”, “Proceedings of the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, “Doctor. For the first time in biomedicine under the leadership of A.T. Bykov invented and patented a hardware-software complex for modeling natural magnetic storms and a system for protecting patients from their impact, which made a significant contribution to the prevention of complications during chronic diseases caused by geomagnetic storms.

Under his leadership and counseling, he defended 22 candidate and 13 doctoral theses.

Scientific research A.T. Bykov and the system for restoring adaptation reserves and increasing his body’s resistance to health determinants, developed by him, were a significant contribution to the scientific work of the authors ’team, which was awarded the 1998 prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in science and technology.
